About Me
I have been in love with natural history ever since I was a small child. I made the decision to become a palaeontologist at age four, shortly after my first visit to the Natural History Museum in London. Over the course of the following fourteen years I nurtured my growing obsession, planning out meticulously every step I had to take to achieve my dream. My hard work paid off - I was accepted onto the Palaeontology Bsc course at the University of Portsmouth, where I would go on to work on Graptolites in Wales before graduating. The following year I undertook my Master's of Research, completing an in-depth study of a crocodyliform from the Cretaceous of Morocco.
Throughout this time I began to get a deep fulfilment from sharing my knowledge - even undertaking a teaching module in my third year at university - and began to engage in scientific communication. I realised that palaeontology is a subject that is generally only known to the public through media and that few people ever get hands on experience. Upon moving to the Jurassic Coast I saw an opportunity to change that.
Now I want to show everyone just how wonderful the world beneath our feet is - from the fossil rich beach of Lyme Regis to the stunning rock formations of Lulworth Cove - I want to take you on an adventure back in time with me.
